This was done in a very dimly lit room (the red light). I took a long exposure, hit a slave flash in my hand for the flare and to light myself, then jumped up and waved an LED light around in a circle a few times to create the "halos." Took me about forty tries to get it right.
Welcome! "Take a picture every day for one year." That's the inspiration that generated this page. The pictures can be anything: people, scenery, objects. They can be straightforward or abstract. Funny or sad. The possibilities are limitless.
With some form of camera (pro, amateur, cell phone) near me at all times, there's no excuse to not shoot something. Let's see where this goes!
